Time for the Alya skin review. If we are friends on Instagram, you must have seen that I have received a skincare set of Alya skin.
Alya skin’s Pink Clay mask dominated Instagram for a while. And I was super curious to try this out. I was not aware that Alya skin has more products besides their famous pink clay mask.
I have tested the products out and will share a full Alya skin review on their complete skincare bundle on the blog today.
About the brand
Alya Skin is an Australian brand. Alya means beauty. The packages of the brand are pink. It is a vegan and cruelty-free brand founded by two friends. Alya is well known for their pink clay mask that has raving reviews.
The complete skincare bundle
I received the complete skincare bundle as a PR gift. The complete skincare bundle consists out of them:
- Australian Pink Clay Mask
- Pomegranate Facial Scrub Exfoliator
- Australian Native Berries Moisturiser
- Foaming Micellar Cleanser
It is a 4 step routine, and the ingredients of the products are Australian ingredients like Australian Pink Clay, Pepperberry, Emu Apple, and Kakadu plum. These ingredients are supposed to help you to get clearer skin.
My Alya skin review will be about these four products.
Foaming Micellar Cleanser
I had a full face of makeup on when I tried the foaming micellar cleanser. Full disclosure I do love to remove my makeup with an oil-based cleanser first and then with a face wash. I am quite a skincare addict.
Using a foaming micellar cleanser is new for me and not enough for my taste. However, I must say it did an excellent job and had a pleasant smell. All my makeup was gone, and it left my face feeling soft. This cleanser is infused with hazel and watermelon seed oil that might be one of the reasons I loved it. It didn’t make my face feel dry, and it did the job.
Pomegranate Facial Scrub Exfoliator
Facial scrubs, I can’t get enough of them. Not everyone seems to like them, and even dermatologists disagree on the use of them. However, if you are not using it too much, it can be a great skin product to have in your routine.
This scrub has pomegranate seed powder in it, and you feel the seeds when using it.
Use it gently under the shower. I was impressed with it, really something I was looking for to add to my skincare routine.
Yes, it might leave your skin a bit dry afterward, but that’s why you need multiple steps in your skincare routine.
Australian Pink Clay Mask
High hopes for this product! I’ve been reading about pink clay masks for a while, and I love masks in general. I have several ones on my roster already. This is a great mask, and I understand the hype now. It takes your impurities out, and I noticed that right after the use of the mask. This might freak some people out because they are scared to break out, but it is the mask its job to get the impurities out of the skin! My skin looked so clean after the use of the Pink Clay mask.
It felt a bit dry, but I know I need extra hydration. In love with the Alya skin Pink Clay mask!
Australian Native Berries Moisturizer
The last step I took when testing this Alya skin complete bundle out. I applied the moisturizer after using the Pink Clay mask.
My skin needed some extra moisturizing this is why I don’t have an objective opinion on the moisturizer.`As I explained before, my skincare routine consists out of multiple steps, and one moisturizer is not good enough for my skin.
This moisturizer keeps my skin hydrated, and if I would use this moisturizer on its own, it would probably be when waking up in the morning and cleaning my face before a workout. I feel my skin needs more or more skincare steps.
So my verdict on my Alya skin review! I think this is a great brand, and I will be adding the mask and the scrub to my routine for sure. Would love to wait and see what other products Alya might be launching.
I have combination skin, but my skin is sensitive, and Alya skin didn’t give me any rash. I love what the Pink Clay mask does; it makes my skin look clearer. I also know that not everyone loves facial scrubs, but this one is great when you use it with caution.
Have you heard of Alya skin? What product would you like to test.
