These sneakers come with a hefty price tag because the finest artisans create them. The price for their most simple model is around 530 US dollars, and it only goes up from there.

The most well-known Golden Goose sneaker is the superstar, a low-top sneaker with a distressed look. They also make the superstar exclusively with retailers, and some have the wildest prints. The sneakers are made from leather, and they are hand distressed. They give you that chic vintage feel.

I am a true EU 41, and my golden goose sneakers are as well. They were comfortable the moment I tried them on; I didn’t need to walk them in.
There are some reviews saying that the shoes fall on the narrow side, but I guess I have always been used to EU sizing and EU shoes.

My Theresa and Nordstrom have a wide selection of Golden Goose sneakers and the Nordstrom or My Theresa exclusive models.
I was also lucky enough to bump into a pair of Golden Goose sneakers at my local Marshalls for a lot of dollars less than they usually retail.

The verdict: Are golden goose sneakers worth the money?

So are Golden Goose sneakers worth the money? As I said before, it is tough to say. In all honesty, luxury purchases will always be luxury purchases, and it is up to you if you would like to spend your money on them.

My opinion is that they are on the more expensive side, but I wear them a lot once the weather is not that cold in Canada. I also feel that I can wear the sneakers with so many different items in my wardrobe, from distressed jeans to a maxi dress. On my Instagram, there is a reel where I style them in different ways.

Italian-made shoes are my favorite, so I will be the crazy girl that will buy them.
If you are not ready to make that purchase, Zadig et Voltaire has sneakers in the same style and sometimes go on sale.
Steve Madden has some look-alikes as well, and Good night Macaroon.

I have a pair of Zadig et Voltaire sneakers, and I like them a lot, but somehow, the leather of the Golden Goose sneakers is less stiff. I have zero regrets about purchasing my Golden Goose sneakers, and I think they are worth it.
